🐾 Return & Refund Policy
At The Plaid Dog Workshop, every item is crafted with care, precision, and a touch of creativity. Because most of our products are custom-made or personalized, we want to make sure you understand how returns and refunds work.

Custom Orders
Most of our products are made to order, including personalized or engraved designs.
For that reason, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect due to our error.
Please double-check your personalization details, spelling, and design choices before submitting your order.

Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged or defective, we’ll make it right!

  1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery.

  2. Email ThePlaidDogWorkshop@gmail.com with:

    • Your order number

    • A brief description of the issue

    • Photos of the item and packaging (if damaged)

We’ll review your request and either replace the item or issue a refund as quickly as possible.

Cancellations
Because we start production quickly, order cancellations must be requested within 24 hours of purchase.
After that, we may have already begun customizing your order and cannot guarantee cancellation.
If you need to make a change to your order (like an address or engraving update), please reach out right away — we’ll do our best to help before your item ships.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return or issue is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed back to your original payment method.

  • It may take 3–5 business days for your bank or card issuer to post the refund.

We’ll notify you by email as soon as your refund has been issued.

Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Custom engraved or embroidered items

  • Personalized designs

  • Digital downloads or design proofs

  • Gift cards
     

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
If you need to exchange your item for the same one, email us with photos and details, and we’ll take care of you.
